The universe (or mulitiverse(s)) is/are infinite, therefore there are an infinate amount of worlds exactly like ours in every way. For instance I'm sure you have all heard the thing where if you have a monkey and a keybourd, and give him an infinite amount of time, it is 100% likely that he will eventually churn out the whole works of shakespear.This relates to the alien debate, because If there are a finite amount of possibilitIes (allbeit a very large amount of possibilities) and an infinite amount of planets, the same thing will definatly happen twice. So there are worlds with aliens on them, and worlds which are exactly the same as this one, with exactly the same things happening at precisely the same time.
