While I was reading though the Kotaku article I ran into these two quotes. I'm guessing these people have test/retail kits and are trying to clarify certain things but I'm not so sure so I put Rumor in the title. Please don't fully believe this yet because this information could be wrong.

It's actually NOT capped at 15 minutes. The 15 minute thing is that before you even hit record, the PS4 keeps the last 15 minutes of gameplay recorded incase you do something unexpected, rather than wishing you had been recording and trying to recapture it. While actively recording/streaming, you're virtually unlimited.
Also, the retail PS4s we have here at work, we're able to capture footage from them using the same devices we've been using on the 360, PS3, Wii, and WiiU.

This quote is from a user named "Dagson" on Kotaku who was replying to another user stating that the PS4 is not capped and that you can record from external devices on the PS4. Also, it is saying that the 15 minutes are only for something unexpected if you hit record then it will actually record forever until you run out of HDD Space or stop.

Here is the second quote from another user named "YesThisIsDagson"

Definitely not at liberty to say, sorry... but we are a studio with two unannounced multi-platform next gen titles in development.
Also the PS4 allows you to upload the videos to your PSN profile, or save them to the harddrive where they can be exported and brought into something like Premiere or Final Cut. You aren't limited to the included editing software or anything.
Aw damn I didn't realize I hadn't gotten the Burner key for the Dagson screename... ugh.

I guess this is either him/her again on a different account or a differnet person I'm not sure. This is them defending the claim of the last post stating that they are a studio working on two unannounced multi-platform next gen titles. Also, he further states that you can upload videos to your PSN profile or save them to your hard drive where they can be exported to a editing software.

I'm not sure if any of this is true, I was following this from a NeoGAF thread and people on there are saying it's legit while people on Kotaku are saying it's legit. I'm gonna take this with a grain of salt but I couldn't see why Sony wouldn't do this honestly since it wouldn't be so hard or bad.

What's your thoughts on this?
