Try the GPU into another PC if the same error occurs than it means it's from the GPU itself or if you have a spare GPU try it in your computer and see if the issue persists.

Did you try a bios update? If it's a custom build the GPU might be damaged from static electricity try test it in another computer.

i built this computer about 2 years ago and i have the latest drivers for my mobo/gpu.

Have you tried to RMA it? It could just be something in your settings go look over them and tell us if you see something out of the ordinary.

i have can't do either of those right now because my moms pc is from like a decade ago and won't support my gpu, and i don't have a spare gpu laying around unfortunately.
