I am not very good with computers so i dont know much about them.
I am looking for a laptop that can run games like minecraft dayZ etc. Smoothly

Gaming laptops are over priced and still most find hard to cope with many hours of gaming.

I have the Lenovo Y500 and I absolutely love it.

It has never let me down.

Gaming Laptops are nice and all, But theres a few problems. First of all, Cooling. Laptops have poor cooling and tend to get very hot. Second, They get outdated very fast, With New hardware constantly Improving, The laptop you have which you can't upgrade the CPU,GPU,Etc will be outdated in a few months. Third, Weight and Battery life. I had the MSI GT70 gaming laptop. I couldn't play minecraft smoothly unless it was plugged in to the wall, Battery life was very Upsetting at a 3 hour Life, The weight was ridiculous for a laptop, almost weighing in at 9 Pounds!, Thats alot for a Laptop, And the Biggest Problem for me, Is the price. For example the Razer Blade Pro, Nice, thin, Pretty powerful laptop. You don't even want to know what the price of it is. The top of the line model is $2,300 and the Base model is $2,000. That is crazy, With that kind of money you Can build a Monstrous Gaming Pc that would run any game you threw at it without a problem. I'm not trying to down gaming laptops But this is coming from a Previous Owner of a Top of the Line MSI GT70.
