Hey guys, lately I've been seeing lots of Gold giveaways and half of the people that post why they deserve it just try TOO hard.

Here is an example:

Hello,

My name is ******, and I am more than pleasured to be able to participate in this Gold Giveaway event. ****, I'd like to thank you in advance for doing such a positive thing for the community. There are people out there like me that might not have the for gold. It's good to have people like you in a community like the one we have on TTG. Thank you for being such a generous person and helping those out in need. I was very delighted when I noticed people do giveaways for TTG Gold membership.

Reasons why I deserve Gold Membership:

-I am helpful to all members on TTG.
-Very active, I am usually on the forums for 4-8 hours a day.
-I have been on TTG for 2 years and not once have I ever had gold.
-My name is bad, and I am in desperate need of a name change.
-I don't exactly have the money for gold being that I am only 15.
-I always try to help members with their problems and answer their questions, if I cannot answer there question with my knowledge on the topic. I go to Google and find a reasonable solution to their question or problem.
-There is a lot of Gold members, I want to see how it feels to be a gold member. I would love to be apart of the TTG Gold Members group.
-I believe here at TTG we are a family, I enjoy helping others. I just like having that feeling of satisfaction knowing that I have helped someone in need. Helping others has always been my thing in life, I am simply just a genuine caring person.
-I always bring positivity to the table.
-I took time to write this very descriptive persuasive letter.

Overall, ****, thank you for doing this giveaway. Have a nice and beautiful day ****. I hope you continue to do good things for the community and stay active on TTG .Good luck to all participants, and remember to always be positive.

What I plan on doing if I receive the gold?
First off, I will change my name because it is terrible. I will learn explore the benefits of gold. Last but not least I will continue to help and be kind to the members on TTG, because here at TTG we are a family.

I am very grateful to be apart of a community like the one TTG has to offer. People in this community are very helpful, kind, generous, and understanding!

No offense to who wrote this "Love Letter" but people take it too far.

And its not the only one I've seen around, some people copy each other in hopes of receiving gold.

And "Here at TTG we are family"... Cmon.

[EDIT]
I would like to enlighten a few of you that think I'm a bad person for saying "People take gold giveaway responses too far".

Think about it, do you think this person with "15 years of age" (not saying 15yr olds are all immature) would have the common courtesy to give a flippitty doo of the gold gifters life when he says "Have a nice and beautiful day"? He genuinely doesn't care and is just saying all this to win the contest easier.

So what i'm saying is that i despise the "Suck Up" kids that do anything for a "Gold Membership" (only $5.95). And no i am not "hating" on anybody in anyway, i just wanted to get this out there because it was bothering me.

After all, this is the "rant" section is it not?

I wouldn't classify the leeches on here as my "family."

If the gold gifter asked them why and to explain why then I see nothing wrong with what's written

I know who wrote that... Obviously this person really wants Gold so let him get it instead of complaining about it

So you are basically hating on people that take more time than others in their posts?

Well it's an actual post for gold with a little bit of effort so I don't see what the big problem is.
