Call of Duty Ghost
Call of Duty Ghost
In Call of Duty: Ghosts players will take the role of Hesh in the Ghost military outfit. However, Hesh won't remain the character's final name as Infinity Ward's Executive Producer, Mark Rubin, states that Hesh will stay as a placeholder until the studio decides on something more suitable. Mark Rubin explained that the name comes from a skater term that the studio used throughout development.
As for the overall story, Infinity War informed Gamefront that America continues to fight a war with the South American Federation of Countries. America's crippled state and the Federation's access to resources, allowed the Federation to become a world superpowers in the year 2023. As for weaponry, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 took place only two years after, but did not face a catastrophic event to delay scientific advancement.

Perks
Perks can make your character sprint for longer, fire more accurately from the hip, switch weapons quicker, or spot enemy equipment easier, for example. Opting for a combination of Perks that best compliment your playstyle will mean that you will be the best soldier that you can be which is a good thing, considering the stiff competition thats found on CoDs multiplayer nowadays.
Ghosts Perks will feature several that Call of Duty vets will recognize from previous titles the ones mentioned above, for example. The reason that the developers keep the same basic Perks in CoD games year after year, adding a few new additions each time, is because they are necessary in order to keep the Perk system as balanced as possible while still offering a wide range of 20+ options.

New:
Search and Rescue mode allows players to revive fallen teammatessomething gamers have been asking for now for quite some time.
Cranked mode gives players temporary a number of boosts after a kill but sets a timer going. If you dont get another kill before the clock runs out you explode. This promises to be a tense and hilarious mode that I will play just because I know Ill explode a lot and want to see that in action.
Squad Mode is pretty neat. You can create 10 soldiers that form your squad. You can play in this mode solo, co-op, or competitive and your squad can be challenged even while youre not playing, earning you experience. Squad mode is broken down into:
Squad vs Squad your basic player vs. player, pitting your squad against someone elses
Wargame Pick five of your squad mates to battle against AI
Safeguard Four player co-op mode
Squad Assault Six player squads can take-on offline squads

Random & New Information
Squads
Players of all skill levels can take their squad of soldiers into a mode called Squads. They can play alone, cooperatively up to 6-players, or competitively for one vs. one matches between their squads and those of other players.
Squads features a variety of play-types, allowing players to swap-out their custom A.I. soldiers with real friends for quick-action co-op. Activision says that the competition can be fierce as squad soldiers display life-like, skilled tactics and behaviors like side-strafing, corner-camping, jump-shooting and more. Players, plus their squads, will earn XP. Activision suggests that if youre offline, your squad may get challenged for play without you.
Customization
Players can customize up to 10 soldiers, each of which will earn XP toward Prestige. Expanding upon Modern Warfare's create-a-class system, Ghosts will let players create a soldier with up to 20,000 possible combinations, including custom appearances and equipment. Players can also play as a female soldier for the first time. Players will earn tokens as they gain XP that can be spent on primary and secondary weapons, lethal and tactical equipment, and Perks. Attachments and Killstreaks will not cost anything to choose, and Deathstreaks have been eliminated.
Destructible Environments
Unlike the Battlefield series of games, you wont be able to fully destroy buildings, but your gunfire and explosives will be able to affect damage on the map that causes dynamic events to play out. Drop a bomb on a bus hanging at the edge of a cliff and itll fall down, killing those within it and in the crevice below. Shoot a pile of logs and theyll tumble down killing everything in their path. Cover can be broken down, and kills can be achieved through these map-specific traps. This gives players the opportunity to learn maps in all new ways.
Assault Packages
Assault Strike Packages
Activision also confirmed the following Assault Strike Packages (which are based on consecutive enemy kills and are reset by death):
Sat Com Utilize satellite communications to relay enemy movements. Drop multiple Sat Coms on the map for enhanced reads on enemy locations.
Guard Dog Your Combat dog will warn you when there are nearby enemies and take out ones that got the jump on you.
Maniac Call in advanced juggernaut armor via Care Package; this knife expert forgoes guns in favor of a high-speed melee attack.
Support Strike Packages
The following Support Strike Packages are also based on consecutive kills but do not reset upon death:
Night Owl An advanced companion drone that detects enemies based on proximity and protects you from explosives.
MAAWS Lase targets to guide missiles from the free-fire shoulder mounted rocket launcher.
Helo Scout Provide sniper support for your team aboard a controllable helicopter.

"The idea of dynamic maps is going to be a game changer for us. The map impacting change on you and you impacting change on the map becomes a strategic weapon now that can be used against you or for you. The whole idea of learning the maps and learning the flow is going to take on a whole new level of strategy. I think that's a big change. The same goes for character customization".
Call of Duty: Ghosts - Austin / Hospital
When they were talking about multiplayer innovations (Dynamic maps) they reffered to this first picture, so this is definetly a multiplayer map.
Setting
This one is up in the air. The leak that began with Drift0r suggest Ghosts will be set in the future with modern weapons. The box art doesn't include weapons, only a common used type of military glove so its impossible to tell. Its very possible its set in the future just like MW3 was, most people forget that the MW3s story takes place in 2017.
Multiplayer Pre-Order Bonus
Activision has officially announced a new multiplayer map for the upcoming game Call of Duty: Ghosts. The map Free Fall is stated to be a dynamic map and changes on how the players approach the game. This map will be a bonus for the people who preordered Call of Duty:Ghosts.

Information & Release Date
According to a video by popular YouTube personality, Drift0r, the next instalment in the Call of Duty series will named "Call of Duty: Ghosts". This information allegedly comes from an industry insider, and is one who Drift0r regards in the highest degree. Call of Duty: Ghosts will supposedly include a number of new features into the game.
The plot of Call of Duty: Ghosts will possibly be set in a futuristic world, but due to a currently unknown event, forces the characters to use the weapons of today. Call of Duty: Ghosts will also include a number of new gameplay elements such as a dynamic load screen in which a player may rappel or enter the level in a more realistic and fun way. Other gameplay element news to Call of Duty: Ghosts will include changes to player movement, notably the introduction of a system where the player has the ability slide while shooting, bringing a fresh new element to gameplay. The prone and crouch systems will also change and will the player to peak around corners, which was only previously possible in the PC versions of the game. Day-Z style rolling is also said to be possible while in the prone position.
Call of Duty: Ghosts also seeks to bring in a much more dynamic environment with its dynamic load screens. The environments and structures are supposedly able to be affected by player interactions and player killstreaks in the game, but this feature is said to only be working well in the Singleplayer version of the game. Call of Duty: Ghosts will also see the removal of the Spec Ops minigame, and seek to introduce something new which is unknown at this time.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Gives You a Dog, Customizable Multiplayer Avatars
You'll have a dog in the next Call of Duty. You'll be able to lean. You'll be able to slide. And in multiplayer, you'll be able to customize your character's avatar, switching bodies, heads and more.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is making its public debut today as part of the reveal of the new Xbox, but don't let the game's good graphics distract you completely. The new graphics engine running CoDG isn't the only big change.
At an advance preview for Ghosts last week, reps from the Activision-owned studio Infinity Ward began sharing details for their new game, the November-scheduled Call of Duty that, had they kept the numbering, would be Call of Duty 10.
Call of Duty: Ghosts underwater
Apparently, this underdog has a dog. Infinity Ward is giving players a specially-trained, mo-capped military attack dog. We fight for him. He fights for us (sorry, nothing more specific regarding controls, or how much it can be commanded).
Players will also be able to lean and slide in the interest, the developers say, of giving players smoother motion through their game world. The lack of lean in earlier Call of Duty games has been controversial among the player base, some of whom wanted that feature added to match other shooters.
Call of Duty: Ghosts jungle
Infinity Ward is promising a 60 frames-per-second experience for what should be a slick and attractively detailed game. Some in-game flythroughs showed a lush jungle and a detailed riverbed. They look good, though players of high-end PC games will probably see in Ghosts' next-gen graphics a level of visual fidelity they're already used to. IW is proud of their new engine, hyping its higher polygon counts, tech for smoothing curves, making flat surfaces look bumpier than ever (should they need to look bumpy, of course!).
What good are graphics for gameplay? That's up to debate, but other engine accomplishments: smarter artificial intelligence of ambient life like the scurrying fish that get out of the player in an underwater level and "interactive smoke" promise to be more meaningful to the dynamism of the game.
"This is not tech for tech's sake," says IW executive producer Mark Rubin .
Call of Duty: Ghosts jungle
Ghosts will have multiplayer, of course. That's probably why most people will buy it. Details are slim, though IW is promising that maps will be more dynamic, with events like floods changing a level mid-session. They plan to give players access to trigger-able traps and events, like the rolling of a bunch of logs onto an enemy. Players will be able to customize their multiplayer character, changing their heads, bodies and more.

Mulitplayer Rumor
It is rumored that COD: Ghosts will come with dynamic loading screens like jumping from a helicopter or entering a building instead of the simple "5,4,3,2,1, the game begins."
More changes to the class system are also rumored, as is a new side game similar to Spec Ops and Zombies modes.
