Uh... ok... Since you have to disconnect the HDD from the system to use the transfer cable for drive modding, they can't track what you do with it. Only when you hook back up online with the newly modded stuff can they spot it, but as long as you aren't going from 50G to over 100,000G all at once, then they have no red flags to follow up on.

No. To do memory card modding, you'll either need to do:
1)A system based transfer from the card to the HDD and mod that way, then transfer back or
2)Get the aftermarket codejunkies gamesaves kit and use that adapter.
Either route works, but where one is cheaper (system transfer/ MS transfer cable), the other is easier(Codejunkies kit). your choice though
