killercolwill wrotexD_iRapiiDz_x wrotekillercolwill wrotexD_iRapiiDz_x wrotekillercolwill wrote You cannot play in HDMI while recording with the dazzle
If you want to play in HD then youd have to buy a more expensive capture card like a HD PVr or black Magic
That's why I want to know what Cables I need to buy to be able to record with my Dazzle.
You cant get the cables, they dont exist
FOr the dazzle to work your xbox needs to be set in SD
So that means I can't buy a Dazzle, because it won't work?
You can but youd have to play in stansard definition, using the cable the came with the xbox not HDMI
I don't have that Cable, I must have lost it some how.

To record with your Dazzle you will need
An Av cable, and 3 splitters. This will record for you but not in HD. Quality is still good though.
If you need help setting it up I can help you.
Okay, thanks a lot, where can I get a Splitter and Av Cable from?
Best buy,Walmart, or your local electronics store. Should have them.

No that is a component cable. Look at this topic it shows you everything you would need to buy.
Forums/viewtopic/t=557815.html
A/V cables have 1 yellow, 1 red, and 1 white.
Splitters are 2 in and 1 out.
