It's baseball. People hit people all the time because of rivalries.

Dempster should've been ejected. No need to throw inside at a player 4 straight times.

Pitchers like this in baseball are not needed, there have been great players that had there career ended due to pitch that hit them. It was un-necessary for him to throw at A-rod

No it was not. Stop defending him. A-Rod used steroids, and obviously Dempster doesn't approve of it. That's not the first time A-Rod will get hit, and it definitely won't be the last.

Ok David Ortiz took steroids and you don't see the yankees throwing at him, that makes no sense dude just because he took steroids 7 years ago.

I'm sensing that you are a mad Yankees fan?

I'm going to type this once more, IT'S BASEBALL. It's going to happen, stop crying about it. Oh well A-Roid got hit by a pitch. Bryce Harper did the other day as well and it's not that big of a deal. You know why? Because it's baseball. It happens. A-Roid is going to get hit, because he's cheated the game more than the next guy, he shouldn't be playing, and it's ridiculous seeing him play right now. Atleast give the guy a 50 game suspension seeing as how he's never been suspended by the MLB.

Your right though Pool, I remember some dude getting hit right in the face by a Wild pitch. it happens, it's that risk you have to take while playing sports. -Beneath

You said a wild pitch* not a pitch thats thrown on purpose and what does this have to do with A-rod, did that certain guy take steroids?

This does not only happen in Baseball. This happens in many sports, in football, or hockey, American football or any other sport. Players will go after you to show they do not support you, trying to prove a point. Yes, he should've been ejected. In sports players will take runs at other players, you just have to man up and take. Just like A-rod did. He did a good job not starting anything.

The situation was handled god-awfully by the umpires.

If you want to throw at A-Rod for whatever reason, go for it. After that first pitch, both sides should have be warned. Once he did it again, he's gone. Get your message across and move on with it. Warning after A-Rod got hit was terrible umpiring. Now CC, who would have normally retaliated, is unable to. He was unable to protect his player which is taking part of the game away. If he hit Ortiz he would have been thrown out of the game which isn't something we need for someone who is supposedly our ace.

In my opinion, the Red Sox are hypocrites. John Lackey, who has some moronic comments about A-Rod playing, is an idiot. PEDs are the reason he won the world series with the Angels and I'm sure he's had plenty of juicers helping him out on his team while he's pitching, has he said anything about them? Of course not. And now the Red Sox are getting all butt hurt about A-Rod meanwhile Manny and Ortiz (who was sitting in the dugout with that smirk of his while this whole thing was happening), who have both been targeted as PED users were the reason they won a world series.

Trust me, I'm not a fan of A-Rod as much as the next guy but I know when someone is being targeted unfairly. Ryan Braun single-handedly ruined an innocent urine-collectors life through his lies and nobody seems to talk about him as much as A-Rod.

I'm a Yankee fan and am not happy with A-Rod ATM, but that is very immature of Dempster to hit him. IMO I find that borderline pathetic.
