LolItsJoey wrote I think our manager is being smart, his been building up his money for the past years by buying young players, making them to the best of their ability and then selling them for more, that's why we are one of the richest in the premier league. I think that soon enough, some of that money will be spent on buying the best players for arsenal. I'm just sticking with Wenger on this one, i have full trust in what his doing.

That's not clever then is it? Why bring up youngsters to their best and selling them? I have trust in him also but the board gave him apparently 70M to spend? If his been given it then look at targets and buy the players you need.

While you have a valid point, if we aren't spending and not competing for top 4 and trophies, no one is going to want to come to us and all that money will only be spent on mediocre players that will keep us drifting around Europa League placements. Arsenal are ment to be one of the top teams in the world. But as modern football progresses more money is going to be spent and to keep up with all the other top clubs, we need to spend more and keep on performing at a high level.

Your reaction looks like you have no clue. His been bringing up youngsters for years and your talking like he hasn't?

How? If you read what you put you said 'by buying young players, making them to the best of their ability and then selling them for more' That's not exactly clever? Why sell them when they could potentially be a great part of the squad.

They could be, but selling them enables Wenger to have more money to buy the 'better' players that are out there.

Think about it? If we have a 19 year old going to be a great player sell him for 25 mil (example) No one wants to come because we just don't seem to have the ambition, We then buy a player worth 16M that isn't a 'great' player because no one wants to come?

Omg im loving this... But i reckon they'll sign at least 3 players, with the squad and injuries they have now they wont get top 4, no way.
