Is it true that Xbox have to wait 2 weeks after release date to play online on GTA V?

Yes, that is correct. The game comes out on September 17th and GTA Online will be released on October 1st. I think they are doing it so more users will play the single player campaign when they get the game; because so much effort was put into it, they want to see it get played.

Yes but not just Xbox, PS as well, if I'm honest i quite like it gives me time to get used to the map etc and on the 1st of October it will be like a new game to play if you know what i mean.
