yes you will still need the required space. and if you have the new xbox then you have a HDD in it. but if you have the older xbox then i dont even know how you can log into live unless your profile is on a USB. but just go through your xbox and delete stuff you never play, use, dont want, dont need. like themes, games , profiles, demos, gamer pictures, music(if you have any).

do you have the 250GB? because if you do then i cant believe you have that much stuff
