I enjoy both, but they are completely different genres.

honestly though, rock is dying in my opinion. all the legends are slowly passing away and not many new popular rock artists are coming about.

That's a dumb question because there is no real answer for that but personally I prefer neither.

I would have to say rap, don't like anything else.

I like both what i see is that rock is music rap is not music. most rap is only samples and talking over top. Rap is lyrical it is more like poetry than music. That being said, being able to talk and write rhymes are the only talents you need in order to make it big in rap which is why it is thriving as a genre. Rock or any musical instrument based genre takes talent which to me is why it is dying people are no longer taking the time to learn how to play an instrument everything is just ripped samples. Now when it comes to types of rap, I like underrated rap. More because it is actual work it isnt just about making money or killing people its not about sex it has meaning you dont see that in mainstream rap and its a shame i think one day just like disco rap will die out because it is the same thing over and over again nothing is new both points are arguable and like i said i like rap. I like Rock. Just the way i see things. No hate please!

I listen to both, as they are both my favorite genres. I actually do listen to a bit of everything.

I totally agree m8 there is certaint rappers like jayZ I hate he talks about killing and having sex with the dead bodies of kids he is also satanic and sings about in his songs but there are some rappers that i get they're message and what there trying to get across

That's a matter of opinion, there is no "better" genre, but for me I would say rap.
