Just get a PC. I don't see why everyone wastes money on the "new" consoles every year.

Consoles like Xbox and PS come out every 5+ years.

Yeah, everyone should believe you. Because you have a time machine, you went into the future, came back and told us.

We use DX11.1, there are some optimizations in it (constant buffer offsets, dynamic buffers as SRVs) that we got in to the the API that improves CPU performance in our rendering when one runs with DX11.1. This will be in BF4.
This means that PC and Xbox One versions of Battlefield 4 would be more optimized than PlayStation 4. Theres also a hint at AMDs Next Never Settle Bundle featuring Battlefield 4 as a free title which is a good deal for AMD users."
But the PS4 has a way better GPU which is crucial in games.
PS4 GPU 1.84 TFLOPS
Xbox One GPU 1.23 TFLOPS
Xbox 360 GPU 0.23 TFLOPS

You can see it is a big difference. Both the Xbox One and the PS4 are very easy to code for because of their PC Architecture. But we will have to see when they come out. People will do youtube video comparisons.

It doesn't matter about TFLOPS it matters mostly on GHZ also Ps4 not having Direct X11.1 will screw up graphics/gameplay on game engines that require it, like Bf4.
GHZ is clock speed. TFLOPS is overall power. Which one do you think matter more? Let me put it this way. Which one would you go for?

Single core CPU with a 4.0 ghz clock?
or
8 core CPU with 3.2 ghz clock?

Thats right anyone with some sense would know option 2 is better. You can raise clock speed by overclocking but you can't add cores.

There's been like 4 or 5 different types of Xbox's all costing around 300-400 pounds + the costs to go online. A PC you can spend like 200 every few years to upgrade bits to keep up to date. And there is no online fee's. I just see that PC has all the advantages over consoles so why not just get one. I'm not going to come back to this topic because I know you'll just start an argument.

It honestly doesn't matter if Xbox has less on TFLOPS like I said before Ps4 not having Direct X11.1 will screw up Gameplay and Graphics for games that require them.

I'm getting the Xbox One, but I don't think this has anything to do with the PS4, it would be Battlefield's fault wouldn't it? The developers aren't taking advantage of the hardware they have.

It will not "screw up gameplay" I can promise you that. I can also tell you that it's not going to be something that the average or even above average gamer is going to notice whatsoever. We get that you like Xbone soooo much more and BF4 is going to be waaaaay better on your Xbone, so why don't you go talk in correct section about how much better it will be for ya on the Xbone bud...

The PS4 and Xbox One will be 720p which doesnt look as good as 1080p on PC's
if you want the best graphics just get a PC.

The game will be better on Xbox One and PC because of the Direct X optimization.

The PS4 and Xbox One will both run at 1080p 60fps for most games. Hell, even the Wii U will be able to do that.

BF won't run 1080p with 60fps, that's what DICE tells us.. but in reality it will be upscaled 720p with less than 60 fps. these consoles are not capable of running BF4 in those settings
IF anyone watched e3 at all, battlfield 4 was confirmed 1080p 60fps by all bf4 devs on both next gen consoles.
