Absurd. PC players probably won't care as much as console users because console users have to pay a whole lot more than PC users.

It killed the game for me, as it did for many others.

Why do you say the game is unfinished? Also, as has been stated in an interview with the developers, if they were to release the extra content and updates like any other game it'd cost players more then $15 per month.

Funny thing is, I see a lot of people complaining about this, yet of those how many are subscribers to WoW? How many pay the exact same fee for a game that, from all my time having played it, only updates its content when a huge expansion pack is brought out, charging a large sum for that and the subscription fee? Here, with ESO, we are being offered a constantly updated game for 0.50 cents a day. Sure, for the console players you'd also have to pay for access to the consoles network, but that relates as a PC player having to pay for internet access.

Nope. Good luck convincing console users that DLC is worth more than $15/month. NO game on console charges more than that. BIG DLC expansions are generally 15 for a TON of content and isn't out every month. Any game that has the premise of "being updated monthly" means the game isn't close to being finished, is that too hard to understand?

LMAO. "Relates to having to pay for internet access" LOL!!

You realize that you have to pay for internet to access console too, right? There are not enough facepalms for you.

So PC player have to pay for internet access and access to game monthly.

Console players have to pay for internet, xbox one, xbox live (or PS equivalent), game, and game monthly fee

Like others have said, it is going to fail hard on console.

No, no it wouldn't. Skyrim is made for single player, adding multiplayer to it would ruin it.

Matter of opinion, for me, it would be great.

If multiplayer was added to the mainstream Elder Scrolls games, you wouldn't have the same freedom you do now, you'd have to stay in closeness to your co-op partner, wouldn't be free to explore as you wish, would have to share the spoils of combat. This is why Bethesda have said they will never make the mainstream games, like Skyrim or Oblivion, into multiplayer.

You could add freinds to your world or even phase in dungeons as such, would be a massive improvement. Also, I wouldn't mind an online Arena from Oblivion.

The reason I said about the internet is because most console owners are teens who have their parents to pay for internet. Honestly, you go on live and about 90% of the people being played with are kids around the 12 year old mark.

And its not been said that a single DLC would cost 15 per month, if you actually paid attention to what I said or what the devs have said, the 15 per month is because the content they are releasing would be like having DLC each month that equates to $15, whether it comes as one DLC or as a bunch doesn't matter. Also the fact that some DLC costs about 1200 MSP and a 1500 point card costs about $27.50, your calculation about the cost of DLC deserves a face palm.

i think what he means is console players have to pay for the console, the subscription, and the monthly fee which is a tad expensive
