I was in the actual same predicament. I kept getting console banned, after my 3rd I switched. PS3 isn't that bad. Only thing you'll miss from XBL is party chat (PS3 party chat can only be done on home/dashboard ). If you go with PS4 it will have party chat and everything you miss from XBL in my opinion. I used to be a fairly big modder and had a RGH Slim but after switching to PS3, you do everything legit. No need to mod anymore. Its great!
