A wealthy businessman in Great Britain recently turned down a 9.3 million dollar offer to purchase a license plate that says F1. Afzal Kahn purchased the F1 license plate in 2008 for a little over $685,000. Now, its worth 13.5 times that! The F1 plate was the very first license plate registered in Essex County in 1904.

I would of accepted the offer ; 9.3M is A LOT of money for a license plate.

Wow, surely he doesn't need more than that to live a good life for him and his family?

As you can see he has a Bugatti, so I'm guessing he doesn't need the money lol.

Hey Daw,

Okay so two things an happen in this situation.

1) If the guy that offered 13mil will get mad and have pay an assassin to take him out.
2) The guy that offered 13mil will raise the price because of his need for F1.

If it was me I wouldn't have taken it either. I personally think the price will be raised.

I'm sure he made the right choice, yes 9.3 million dollars is a lot of money, but just think of how much it will be in the years to come.

Holding on to that name plate for a few more years will get him way more than 9.3m. It was a smart decision to say no to that price.

I agree. I'm just saying If I was not wealthy as he is I would of taken that offer. He doesn't even need the money.
