Everytime i go to the shop i see warning labels on cigarettes and it says ''Smoking kills'' and all that and it got me thinking if it has those warning labels and smoking can really kill people then why are you selling them! or make them legal. If it has those warning labels then they should atleast ban them or something. Plus cigars are way better than cigarettes, cigars dont have those kind of chemicals like cigarettes do.

So what do you guys think?

They are still only sold because the governments gain too much money from taxing them. If they just outright banned them. The government would lose too much money.

Banning something or making it illegal just makes it worst. People will do whatever they can to get it.

I think it's because cigarettes are just so popular that if they made them illegal there would be riots on the streets from nicotine depraved maniacs. Mind you they could also turn to vaping, which is much healthier, plus they still get nicotine, just not all that chemicals in tobacco

I don't have a problem with the labels warning people who use them that it kills, even though it's monumentally obvious in the first place.
It's the fact that they put pictures of removed tumours and gory health effects on the packaging.

Walking down a street I don't want to have to look at that littered on the side of the road.
