Well TTG i took a big step forward in my life and accomplished a very major achievement in my life today and passed my driving test i cannot be any happier, it took me 2 attempts and cost me an awful lot of money i just thought id share with you all.

I have a 1st car lined up already what do you think?
Its a Renault Clio 1998 2dr 1.2L Mint condition in my opinion pretty decent 1st car and since i am only 17 it is the only car i can afford insurance wise.

Any recommendations on first cars preferably ones cheap on insurance any help with this would be much appreciated.

Well TTG how many attempts did you take you too pass your test? What was your first car?

I guess in the US passing your driving test is easier than in the uk! we have to answer 2 questions on the car we are driving perform 1 maneuver 1 emergency stop and drive around back roads and main roads one way roads give way road junctions etc for a good 45 Minutes!

Thanks aswell dude! that looks like a great first car!:O insurance in uk is outrageous! The car i am getting the insurance for my age is 2000 a year and thats as a named driver!

Wow congrats man! Well done for passing your test! Can't wait to do mine next year. Hate how you have to wait till you're 17 in the UK.

That Clio looks mighty fine! Hope you have a lot of fun driving around. But remember, stay safe on the roads!
