You could have gotten a lot better for under $1000.

Not a bad setup. I would definitely suggest upgrading one of those 1.5tb hdd's into a 60-120SSD. Put your OS on the SSD, and you will experience boot/reboot times in under 15 seconds. On top of the OS, place any games you want to load fast on there (load fast, not play faster).
Sure you lose a lot of space, but as stated, when are you possibly going to use 3tb of space? I made the transition to SSD with a secondary HDD that stores all my games, music, etc. Never looking back.
The other thing I'd suggest, if you have the space for it, a full size tower. If you don't plan to move your computer around a lot, a full size tower will create airflow and more room to expand. (Graphics cards are getting huge these days)
I too have a trackman mouse, I love it. I do find it clunky for certain games though, as mouse scrolling with the thumb seems a bit slow to me, however for casual use its the most comfortable in my opinion.
I think overall for $1500 you have a pretty good setup. 7.5/10
