did you enable upnp port mapping? devlink-disabled ping patch-enabled contpatch-enabled? you may need to port forward your router using the 3071,3072 ports and allow link through your firewall setting this up and using a manual ip on your console should sort it.

you do not have to port forward on link what so ever, unless you wanna host most of the time, anyway after he got the updates for fsd3, + has a internet connection, + starts games from fsd... it should of shown up, but if hes playing a game thats not supported on link yet then thats why its faded, he also may need to reset his password, ever since jqe360 had a majr rest pass thing the other day.

No... go into the link area where you test your stuff. And click Enable Link. EASY FIX!

make sure your jtag is connected to the router/modem with your ethernet cord, then make sure your computer is on the same router/modem and not on wireless. thats what did it for me.
