Off-contract phones are supposed to be cost-prohibitive. The money is not in the sale of the device itself, but the contract with a carrier. The idea that Apple is "greedy" is absurd. Welcome to the world of business where you charge what people will pay and price is determined by competition.

They look like fantastic devices, no surprise here, and iOS 7 is a winner. Aesthetically, I think the new OS is way ahead of Android at this point. Touchwiz and Sense are pig-ugly in comparison.

I think the 5c is pointless , it's the 5 except plastic haha waste of money but the 5s on the other hands I am definitely getting it. I usually upgrade to the S models of iPhones so I'm getting the 5s can't wait

i think they both have there positives ones cheaper for people that can afford it and ones is more sturdy

I really don't see a point in them making a whole new phone for a finger print scanner. Yeah its cool but its pretty pointless... They should have added some features like an infrared blaster and air gestures like the galaxy s4 has. ios 7 looks pretty awesome though.

It's a better upgrade than we've gotten with S models in the past. The fingerprint scanner is a lot better and more useful than Siri in that I think people will actually use it and developers will take advantage of it. If the iPhone introduced a feature like air gestures, it would take off much more than it has on the S4 (read: not at all) because it's not exclusive to Touchwiz and iOS isn't fragmented. I have all air gestures disabled on my S4 (which is stuck on the stock ROM without a recovery, thanks a lot Samsung/Verizon) because they don't work in anything but a few stock apps and they're a waste of my CPU time. The stock browser sucks compared to Chrome, which doesn't support the gestures.

I don't think the 5C will take off when people will probably be able to get the 5 for the same price. Maybe kids will like it because of the colors and polycarbonate should be much more drop-resistant than aluminum. If Apple had made the 5C waterproof or something significant like that, there would have something going for it. It looks like a Nokia device.

Not sure how I feel about the 5c but the golden iPhone 5S is looking mighty nice.

The iPhone 5c is only 40 cheaper than the original iPhone prices 500, but because each year apple sneak on 10 or so the phones now becoming ridiculous to buy, especially in the uk as its more expenisve!

EDIT: also what does the 5c actually have going for it? Nice colours? All im saying is the Lumia is way cheaper...
