I would like to draw your attention to world war 2 where the Germans were slaughtering jews if countrys did not intervene then it would still be happening today, we cannot simply let innocent people die no matter WHERE OR WHO THEY ARE.
No one intervened because the Jews were getting systematically annihilated.
Rwanda and Cambodia are better examples.

At the moment it is good that the US and Russia are negotiating on placing Syria's chemical weapons under international control, but like the foreign secretary said Syria have lied before about saying that they will hand over there weapons.
