if you are talking about unlocking it because it has a password and you forgot it, what you need to do is restore it by going on itunes and restoring it.

No he is on about unlocking it so he can use any phone network. sorry but the ones that say are free are more likely virus's.

It can't be done for free, if you want it unlocked your going to have to pay.

I used to have a disk I had gotten off of eBay that would unlock phones. I'm not sure of where it is since that was a couple of yrs ago, but you could search on eBay. Check their feedback for complaints and when you find one with little to no complaints that's your best bet.

the only thing i know about unlocking any phone is this special sim card people put into the phone in order to unlock it.. thats all i know try and find its name on youtube then maybe try ebay to buy that special sim card if you wanna do it yourself thats all i know man .

There used to be a way via Cydia app (jailbreak) but I don't think that it'll work anymore. Worth a shot if you want and your device is jailbroken. Look up "ultrasn0w" on Cydia. There are a few websites that will IMEI unlock it, though none are free because the process of doing it isn't free. The cheapest I've seen is around 20 USD. I've seen another site that does it for as low as like 1-2 USD, though I haven't seen enough vouches to where I trust it's 100% legit.
