I saw a video of skyrim, and he pulled out a side bar to switch between everything. How do I use that?

it is a quick way to switch between weapons and spells. in stead of opening your items, you simply add your favourites, and you can switch between them in a single button.
You use your DPad. up and down to scroll through, Right and Left to give a quick key.

Up or down in the dpad took me forever you have to favorite a weapon/ spell/ etc and it shows up there

You favorite the weapon or whatever you want, It's actually really helpful lol
