So I invested 500k into Petr Cechs at 17-20k, that will give me lets 27 of him, when they game comes out I'd say he will go for 40-50k+?

If all is right I could get back to like 1.2m?

Personally i think it will pay off but he will only rise to around 30k for a short amount of time

It's a smart move. I'll expect his price to rise massively when the game releases in Europe.

People are expecting prices to rocket up as soon as the game comes out, but I feel they are overestimating it by a long shot.

The reason people think this, is because people will be buying players for their teams. More demand for players with the same amount of stock, will result in price rise. This is true, however people are forgetting one vital thing.

When the game is released, a lot of people will also be purchasing a lot of packs. More packs = more stock. More stock AND more demand will mean that the prices will remain around the same. But of course, one will outweigh eachother, if more people buy packs than buy players for teams, the prices will LOWER, if more people buy teams than players, the price will RISE.

All in all, I think the prices will rise, but nowhere near your estimations

I would have invested in a few different players to dissipate the risk a little

You'll make profit... but many not tonnes

It's always been like that, and the demand for players has always been high at the very beginning of FIFA. I can't see it being any different to other games to be honest.
