Ok, both of those guys are complete assholes and give this site a bad name, the garage SHOULD be mark on the map as a green or white garage icons.

Instead of wasting your in-game money, just do a little bit of the campaign and you will eventually unlock the garage for your character without having to buy one.

Each player eventually gets a garage.
