I am gonna install the play disc to a USB flash drive seperate from my other xbox files, will it make the disc drive quieter? Ive heard installing works with some games but not others.

Recommend not installing. Causes crashes and some bugs are shown throughout the game such as texture loading. RockstarGames has warned players.

i installed it to my main hard drive no problems

They did warn but said it was ok if you installed to a seperate usb flash drive...

Yes, installing it onto a USB is fine. But not the Xbox

I believe that with installing it via USB is fine.. As I heard rockstar say it was safe, but you want to know if it'll make the game quieter? Personally I'd do it safe wit my hard drive. BUt you could always try I, it won't hurt

How noisy is your disc drive that makes you want to install it? I still have an xbox arcade & its not even that loud, R* also suggested not installing it onto the xbox because the game crashes & its really buggy

its pretty loud which makes me think it will damage my game, I have the slim which also makes me concerned.
