I have pre-ordered the Xbox One, unfortunately I was too late for the 'Day One edition' does this so mean I will not be able to receive the console until a later date or should I be able to get it on the day of release?

You should get it on the day of release you just might not get the extra benefits.

if you didnt preorder a day one edition that means that you most likely will not be getting it in the first day
