Oops, my bad for not reading your post clearly! But yes, it is most certainly possible for your parents to charge you with arson. But I'm not entirely sure. :S

Well i would say get writing because it is a felony and if you get charged your life is wrecked.

Considering you're a minor, the charges will go towards your parents, not you. Also, seeing as you burned down your parents garage; you can't really be charged for a crime as it's owned by your parents and not anybody elses' that can press charges against you.

Yes, it is entirely possible to be charged with arson, an good lawyer could potentially save you from being entirely charged with felony.

Since I burned the side of my parent's garage, are they the ones who can decide to charge me with arson? (The fire marshal said that the Fire Department can charge me)

To answer your question, I dont think so. Since youre not a legal adult and it wasnt your property, the fire department cant charge you. It would have to be your parents because youre no over 18. I may be wrong. But thats what I think.

last time I checked if I went and broke a law when I was 17 I would be the one to be charged not my parents. not to sure on how you are confused on who would be charged. O_o
