These spiders are not all that bad, everyone is exaggerating. Yes these false widows are the most poisonous in Britain however it depends how old you are, allergies to spider bites and how stupid you are. The Female false widow (mother) is Huge but the others are about the size of a 50 pence piece, also they only bite people if they feel threatened ( this includes getting close to it, trying to catch it and trying to kill it). They DO NOT chase you ( the mother does if you kill one in front of her). Some people ask the question, where is the father?. The Father gets eaten by the mother (after sex). You can easily gas them, throw something at them ( you better have a good shot) or simply step on it but I would just avoid it. 3 quarters of them are moving north as well. THEY WANT/NEED HEAT. If you live in a house I guarantee you that there will be a lot in your attic.
