Do you mean you want to upgrade your operating system to Windows 7 or you want a whole new hard drive with windows 7 pre-installed ?

If the drive was set up using another computer, the key will not be valid. You can make the drivers work by deleting all device data using an elevated device manager.
In an administrator command prompt, run:
SET DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1
and
START DEVMGMT.MSC
Then click "Show hidden devices" in the View menu. Uninstall everything. This should be done on the Windows 7 drive you want to use with the other PC. Make sure you install all drivers for the other PC after switching drivers.
