With the next title soon to be release, you start to hear people complain and say it's the same every year. If you think about it, every game that has a series is the same. The only thing that is different is a few things, different story different areas/maps, different fighting ways/weapons etc.
The people who complain about it still buy it, I just don't get why people say that. To me, call of duty is different every year. Yes it's kinda the same but a lot does change if you're an actually call of duty fan.
I would like to hear what you guys think.

Agreed. I have friends that do this too. They say there not going to buy it and know they are.
I think COD does change a lot every year and each one has something special to offer. Like Mw3 offering COD elite and the M.O.A.B and Bo2 offering League Play and COD championships.

I agree with you, call of duty changes with each release of the game although some of the things they incorporate into the game may look pointless people adapt to the game, take dolphin diving for example looked pointless but in some instances actually helped you out, and I believe that the slide animation they are adding in will be exactly the same as the dolphin dive.
But you are diffidently right about people who b*tch about the game before playing it and the still go and buy it although they say its going to be terrible

I have been saying the same thing for years now. Games in a series are usually meant to feel and play the same for the most part. It is why it still has the Call of Duty name. Battlefield 4 (Beta) is feeling about the same as Battlefield 3. Halo 4 felt about the same as Halo: Reach. All of them just change some weapons, maps, "perks", and other features of gameplay. I don't even see where the graphics are the same from the others either. They are always improving. It may be a slight improvement each time, but it is there. The death animations are really the only things that get my attention year after year that feels copy and pasted, but does that really matter?

ive been playing call of duty since call of duty finest hour on ps2 i love cod and it is never the same each year!

Your exactly right because if they made something completely different than it it would look ridiculous.

IW/Treyarch know they need to keep CoD the same, that's what the players love about CoD. If Ghost's were to release with the same feel as Battlefield, or weapons like Halo, all the CoD fan's would be in uproar.
