If you have Hearthfire then gather all the Iron Ingots you can find and smith Nails, as long as you have a standing stone that makes the leveling of combat based skills faster, you'll reach 100 in no time. I get from level 1 to level 50 smithing in mere minutes with this technique when using the Lovers stone, however if you also have Dawnguard use the Aetherial Crown to get both Lovers and Warrior stones, this will make all combat based skills increase by 35% faster then normal.

Any forge is fine, they all give the same amount of experience so that is not an issue. As for the standing stone, the warrior is one of the first three you find, it comes up on your map under the Guardian stones location. Its the one closest to the river of the three. And the lover stone is located near Markarth, heading towards Solitude keep an eye out for the standing stone symbol on your map and do a bit of mountain climbing.
