My problem of course would be with the power supply but I would be able to upgrade of course I believe? Second which is the Current graphics card is a PCI Express x1 and I want to be able to switch it out with a Radeon HD 7950 3gb card but wouldn't I need a PCI Express x3.

I know somewhat about computer but i wonder if it would be possible to upgrade and if i would get pretty good performance out of it...? Any idea how it would run as far as maybe bf3?

Look, if you're planning on removing the PSU and GPU, why not build one from scratch?

It makes no sense at all. If you can remove the PSu and install another, that is pretty much building a PC.

Can't see your logic in that.

But all PCI GPU's need a PCIe x16 lane, x1 and x4 are used for SSD's and Sound cards also WiFi cards.

But you seriously need to consider building it from scratch, because all you're doing is wasting money.

power supply is really cheap throwing one away is not going to make or break a computer they are so easily to replace and gpu is because i don't want to have to put the computer together when i can sell the graphics card or just have as a backup because +200 for example on a new card isn't a big deal in my opinion. just wanted to know if possible

Yes it is, but you are wasting a lot of money!

Plus, the PSU is the hardest thing to replace in a PC, as it connects up to everything.

It'll be cheaper just to buy the parts and put them together. Any 11 year old can build a computer; nobody really understands just how easy it is.
