yea daggers are the cheapest and fastest way to get there.

As I always tell people asking this stuff, and recently posted to a thread here:

If you have Hearthfire then gather all the Iron Ingots you can find and smith Nails, as long as you have a standing stone that makes the leveling of combat based skills faster, you'll reach 100 in no time. I get from level 1 to level 50 smithing in mere minutes with this technique when using the Lovers stone, however if you also have Dawnguard use the Aetherial Crown to get both Lovers and Warrior stones, this will make all combat based skills increase by 35% faster then normal.
