I've done this race plenty and know how the settings work and everything. I'm currently doing the race with someone I just met and he's not getting the boost of RP, however I AM. I've let him have the lead the entire race, I've let him win which shouldn't even matter, and I've let him host and YES I walked him through the settings verbatim. ..Does anyone know why I am ALWAYS getting the 5k RP boost, but he's not? Also, four others joined, close friends, and they as well were not getting the boost, but once again I keep getting it.

I've had this happen to me also, so I messed with setting a bit and somehow it started working.

These are the setting I used.
Race Type: Standard
Laps: 2
Class: Any
Time of Day: Any
Weather: Any
Traffic: On
Wanted Levels: Off
Custom Vehicles: On
Catchup: Off
Split Times: Personal
