Im having the same problem ive got 650k at the moment and theres not much to do. Ive build many good teams and used every big player i can afford. I think all we can do when we are stuck between 500k and 1 mil is just keep trading untill we get that ultimate team that you want before the game was out.

You should maybe try and build a 300k team and keep the rest for trading.
