It's by far not boring I'm guessing you haven't tried saving up your candies.

I have made something very similar like this but in another coding language.

actually pretty enjoyable after you leave it up in the background for a while xD

The game is actually quite boring but it's one of those games that are boring but somehow get you coming back for more.

Anyways, I got to the part where you have to do the cyclops' puzzle in the lighthouse and I completely gave up on the game. But that's not the only reason I gave up on the game, my browser keeps crashing and it sets me back about an hour, even when I have autosave on.
