A 12-year-old girl was found hanged in her bedroom with a note saying she wanted to be with her dad in heaven.

Maria Kislo was left devastated by the loss of her father, Arek, who died after suffering a sudden heart attack in 2009.

The tragic schoolgirl was found by her distraught mum Monika, 35, who had gone upstairs to read her a bedtime story.

Maria, from Leszno in Poland, had left a short note, which read: "Dear Mum. Please don't be sad. I just miss daddy so much, I want to see him again."

The youngster's body was retrieved by brother Michal, 13, but she was already dead.

Heartbroken Monika said: "Five years ago I lost my husband Arek, this year my daughter. I dont know if I can go on, and I wouldn't if it was not for my son.

"She didn't seem unhappy. She didn't have problems at school and she seemed a happy little girl."

She added: "I had no idea she missed her father so much, she never really spoke about it."

dont want to sound mean, but if you believe in heaven and you just committed suicide that sends you to hell not heaven....
idk it just had me thinking how dumb suicide is and how much more people need to think about it!
its really sad that such a young girl passed though. RIP

This is horrible, I can understand though, It's hard to loose such a major piece of your life, this is really depressing

agreed, if they were of Christian religion they should have taught what was right and wrong and how suicide was a straight path to hell, a tragic event but what's even more tragic for anyone who believes in God knows that there is a good possibility that she may be in hell

That is terrible. A young girl committed suicide to see her father again. But wont it send her to hell for committing suicide?

Dam, it's to bad she wasn't raised to be an athiest, she might have lived a long happy life.
