Who will come out on top? How many games will it take for a team to win? In my personal thoughts I have to say the Red Sox. I am a die hard Yankee fan but they are too good to handle this year.

They fight fire with fire: Word is the Cardinals are bringing the heat, as in some impressive young flamethrowers. Beware: The Red Sox have torched the fastball better than any other team on any type of pitch. According to Fangraphs.com, Boston's offense is a positive 103.9 runs against the fastball (zero is average). That's not only tops in the majors, but 33% better than any other team. Three of their four ALCS victories came in games started by Detroit's hard-throwing Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander.

I think the Cardinals are going to take it during these next 3 home games. The Cardinals are nearly unstoppable at home and that's where the next 3 games are. Yes, the Red Sox's do have power and they've proved it in the past 2 games, but Cardinals have amazing pitching and know their way around the Red Sox. For me, I think the Cardinals will take it.
