I have an intel 520 series 120GB ssd. I want to get a second one for raid zero, but they only sell the newer version. If I do get the newer version and try to set up Raid0 will there be a problem since they're not the exact same drive? I've never set up a raid with different drives before.

You can mix and match drives. It's only an issue if you'd be using drives of very different speeds. If you want more SSD capacity, you may as well use RAID 0, but don't expect much improvement.
