Yes i don't see why not. There may be some issues with some but Google the ones you have and want to buy and see if there are any known issues.

You CAN, but it's not advised due to the possibility of issues on some occasions. Also, when mix and matching, it'll automatically default the the lowest end unit. Meaning for instance if you have some 1333 mhz sticks and mix them with 1600 mhz sticks, they'll all run in 1333 mhz.
