i have two xbox 360 just laying around but they both need dvd drive replacement, i have new dvd drives to put it them but do not have the original drives, i know they have a key that links them to the console but without the original drive how can i retrieve the key ?

You could retrieve the dvd key through your motherboard but that would be a huge fuss.

The dvd drive and motherboard have to have the same key.

You can look for a tutorial as it is fairly complicated.

is it a hard job or would it be worth getting rid of and listing as needing new dvd drives, i also have an xbox 360 which i believe is able to be RGH but also need key for drive
