EVGA wroteYeah I like this build the only thing I could see that I personally don't like is you have 2x4 ram I would get 1x8 just for the fact that it has the most upgradeability.ZirXa wrote Ok now my question is do you think I would get better performance with a i7 3770k or an i7 4770k with a r9 290x.
The bottom 2 builds( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) would be what I would eventually go for just need to decide whether 3770k or 4770k.
I'd do this. At the time this is posted, everything is in-stock.
It can also overclock decently, as I put in a decent cooler & it's cheaper & running a newer CPU.
Over time I'd upgrade the RAM to 12 or 16GB though, as that's good for editing.

itsMichael wroteI then see it as too expensive, maybe if you could lower the price to about $600 but still have the ram?ZirXa wrote Ok and thank you for the help!I will think about it I mean after all you have to know more about PC's than me and also that build doesn't have ram.
OY..I've been doing too many builds, it's getting to me...
Just add in this kit of RAM if it fits the bill..

Understandable, but 2x4 would be faster, as it would run in dual channel. I'd use this kit since you want single channel.

EVGA wroteThat's what I was going for when I got the money simply because upgradeability it's low profile ram and if I decided to get a water cooler with a big heatsink I wouldn't have to worry.ZirXa wroteEVGA wroteYeah I like this build the only thing I could see that I personally don't like is you have 2x4 ram I would get 1x8 just for the fact that it has the most upgradeability.ZirXa wrote Ok now my question is do you think I would get better performance with a i7 3770k or an i7 4770k with a r9 290x.
