If anyone could help me figure out a custom gaming PC build, I have 500 dollars.
I have everything I need, except a operating system.

Just an FYI, a $500 gaming build is sketchy as it is, but because you need an OS, your budget for components will be cut back to $400, at which point I'd recommend just buying a console as any computer at that price can't be considered a gaming build.

I'm not looking to play BF3 and skyrim, just need it to play basic games like CSGO and TF2 at a decent rate

I'd personally save up another 100-200 to get a lot better PC.
