My friends and i wanted to play together today but there was no way to create a party or anything. All we were able to do was wait then join session. This is really irritating and i am curious if this is a mistake dice made or . . .

It is a mistake. They answered to someone on twitter that asked the same thing and they said the "team was looking into it."
