Hello, today I am going to show you how to reduce or completely get rid of any lag that your Android phone may be experiencing while in use along with some tips in order to keep your phone lag down to a minimum! Please note that I am NOT liable for anything that may happen to your phone if it somehow acts up!

Main way: Developer options!

The first thing you must do is figure out what version of Android you have, which can be found by the following: Settings> About device or Settings> more> About device.

If you have Android 2.3 (Gingerbread):
Settings> Applications> Development

If you have Android 4.0(ICS) or 4.1(JB):
Settings> Developer Options

If you have Android OS past 4.1 :
You may not find Developer options listed. You need to go back the "about device" and rapidly press "Build number" about seven times until it says Developer mode has been activated. Once it has been activated, it will be under the following:
Settings>More(may be unnecessary step depending on phone)> Developer options.

Once Developer mode has been found, go into this option and under "Drawing" turn off the following three items: Window animation scale, Transition animation scale, and Animator duration scale.

Other ways!

Go to your application manager: Settings> >More(depending on device may not need this step)> Application manager and find all bloatware /unnecessary apps that you don't use and simply uninstall updates and disable the apps! You can disable the app by touching the specific app within the app manager and hitting uninstall and also by hitting disable application.

Using a task killer is a great way to kill background processes that are going on on your phone and random applications that will use up your RAM on your phone. If your phone does not have one pre-installed, find one on the Google Play store and use that!

Another thing to do is to turn on and off your phone about once a week. You turn off and on your computer so it doesn't overheat and your Xbox and everything else, your phone should be turned off and on as well!

Well that is everything that I can think of that can help you without a root, if there is ANYTHING that I may of missed, please feel free to post it down below and I will include in this forum and give you credit for the information. Also, please post in the forum if this guide helped you at all by including what phone you have and what Android OS you have!
Have fun with your faster phone!
