The maps aren't great, they are too big and don't feel like they fit to a call of duty play style.

There doesn't feel like there is any progression anymore. For example you can unlock any gun at any level. I preferred it when you unlocked one of the best guns at the highest level.
There are some things I actually do like in the game such as the character customisation and the fact that death streaks are gone.
For me it's not the best CoD yet but that's just my opinion, everyone else might love it.
The best CoD so far in my opinion is Black Ops 2. Although I do love CoD 4.
Maybe if you would wait until the game is actually released, they will probably add more stuff and fix the guns and damage.

SiideSwipe wrote I think COD is getting to the point where it's all about #eSports. I think that is great for the community is makes the game more competitive. I don't like playing for fun I play to win. I don't care if I get hate for this. I think MLG is going to thrive and InfinityWard shouldn't be that concerned with people who play pubs.
I completely agree. Just look at Bungie, the developers of Halo's 1-3. They were all about e-sports back then and shaped their game around that. It benefited all gamers. A game can be competitive and played casually but a game can't be casual and played competitively.

Why shouldn't they be that concerned? Should they just do away with pubs then? If so, that's stupid. The Gaming community doesn't revolve around MLG players. I actually laugh at most MLG players. They think they are big when they aren't.
I mean I do respect them for being GOOD enough to make money from it, but how long can they keep that up? It'll get to a point where it's weird. I mean, I may sound bitter because I'm not the best COD player and I don't make money from it but I don't care. & Yes, the 12 year olds do ruin it, and I will admit, I was 14 when I first started playing Call of Duty, but I played with friends from my school and we stayed in party chat the whole time. We didn't talk trash, we didn't think we were the best, we played for fun. Now-A-Days Gaming is so big, anyone and everyone tries to do it. I couldn't do it, so thats why I'm going to school to become a Dr.
Also, if I talked trash like the 12 year olds do now, I'd be grounded. Today Parents use Xbox because they are too lazy to watch their kids.
I respect your opinion, but MLG is getting bigger and bigger and with people like OpTic it makes people enjoy the game more watching it competitively. Let's face it Pubs isn't focused on that much anymore. They focus on making it competitive and trying to get people more involved in MLG/competitive play instead of playing it for fun. That is why Black Ops 2 introduced League Play. It's a great way to get the community more involved.

You will be sorely disappointed. The campaign doesn't even explain why the events happen. And multiplayer is horrible.

I respect your opinion as well, but even when Treyarch introduced League Play, the servers were not that great. Every match I played had A LOT of lag. What if people don't want to be competitive though? What if they just want to play for fun? Why take away from their experience to fulfill the wishes of the competitive side?

Pool wrote IMO. COD died when MW2 came out. I know I will get some hate, but hear me out.
The COD 4 and WaW community was so much more mature than the community now. People respected each other, and didn't call each other fgts, there was none of that "I slept with your mom" BS, tryhards weren't common, and trickshotting wasn't even around then. The MW2 community ruined COD.
Anyways, there was my little Rant.
I do hope Ghosts revitalizes COD. Although I do think they need to make a retro game, and make a buffered up version of COD4, just with better guns, graphics, etc.
You forgot about said 12 year olds also complaining like little babies when you ruin their quickscope / trickshot montage whilst in a public game!

No, they are included into the MW2 Community.

I don't believe the problem is isolated to MW2 though, I have also seen them on COD4 and MW3.
I believe the problem with MW2 is the infinite noob tube OMA exploit and the Danger Close Spawn tubing in S&D

I agree to this completely. I think the game is awful, and honestly, one of the worst made!

Wait, they took out SnD! Yep, that ruins it all. Meaning, I will probably never be getting the game. Even when it's on amazon for like 10$. I still won't be getting it just because of that. If it's true, that is!
