Sport defined is:
"An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively."
If you read this, it fits gaming, just not the "Physical" part

do you think gaming should be a sport?

people who play games, some just for fun, some competitively and some even for a job and get payed for it, re-read this sentence but replace "games" with sport

No I consider it a hobby, yes some people it provides jobs for. But you can't if ignore the physical part of the definition.

I think eSport is fair, you cant really compare it with football, baseball, or soccer.

I guess in competitions it's ok but still how can sitting in front of a TV and playing a game be considered a sport?

The "Physical" part is the main thing that defines a sport.

Without the "Physical Exertion" part, any game could technically be called a sport.
